Lasker Pool & Rink

Want to go swimming or skating in Central Park? Head to Lasker Pool & Rink. This site, which overlooks the Harlem Meer, features a swimming pool during the summer months which is converted into a public skating rink in the winter season.

Free Swimming in the City

The Lasker Pool offers a wading pool for little ones and an Olympic-size pool with a deck, chairs, snack bar and lockers available to store valuables (bring your own lock). The pool area is open from the end of June until Labour Day. Admission is free.

Ice Skating & Hockey in the Park

Lasker Rink is an outdoor skating facility. Visitors can ice skate while enjoying the scenic backdrop of Central Park. Lasker Rink is home to Central Park Ice Hockey and the only all-girl hockey teams in New York City. There are many different levels of youth hockey available at the rink as well as co-ed adult hockey leagues. Lasker Rink can also be rented for parties, events and photo shoots.

The pool/rink is located in Central Park between 106th and 108th Streets. The closest street entrance is 110th Street and Lenox Avenue.
