Originally built in 1904, The City Club was a sanctuary and private club for New York’s Power Brokers. It is now a sanctuary for executives, modern power players, and entertainment figures. The hotel interior was designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber, whose client list is comprised of A-list celebrities. A black-and-white abstract painting by artist Giglio can be found in the lobby, along with a lipstick-red table covered in art books. Unconventional wall décor consists of original playbills, antique city maps and old news clippings.
Guests will also find themselves close to attractions such as Lincoln Centre, Grand Central Station, Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Penn Station and the Empire State building, to name a few. The hotel has been featured in various publications, ranging from New York Times to Elle Décor Magazine. |
