The Dwyer features groundbreaking long-and short-term exhibitions about Harlem that use a variety of mediums including film and contemporary art. The main space of the center displays the award-winning permanent exhibit "harlem is…” which explores the incredible contributions Harlem has made to art, music and literature. In addition to its exciting exhibits and interactive guided tours, the center also offers film series, community workshops, youth leadership programs and a year-round schedule of live music, theatre and dance performances.
