Other Information	:	Originally built in 1834, the Inn at Irving Place consisted of three single family brownstones that sat at the corner of 17th and Irving Place. Eventually, the corner brownstone was torn down and a small apartment building was built. Today, the two remaining brownstones have been collectively known as The Inn at Irving Place and are furnished with unique antiques reminiscent of the New York of Edith Wharton. When it was combined as a single family home, the two brownstones also housed everything from apartments, The Ingersol Mens Club, a Speak Easy, Beauty Parlor and Day Spa. After a three year renovation, The Inn at Irving Place opened in December 1994.
