Originally built in 1985 as a residential apartment building, the 31-floor Kimberly Hotel New York has a marble lobby decorated with antique light fixtures and Persian rugs. From Mid-July through mid-October, guests aged 17 and older can take a complimentary three-hour cruise, including a complimentary buffet and cash bar, on the yacht of the New York Health and Racquet Club, which sails from the New York Skyport Marina through New York Harbor and the East River. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be arranged at check-in.
