The B&H SuperStore Shopping Experience

Located in the heart of New York City, the B&H SuperStore spans 70,000 square-feet on two floors and offers over a quarter of a million products. The store features an overhead trolley that transports the items you want to purchase directly to the store’s checkout so you can explore the different departments and merchandise hands-free.

Photography and computer equipment are located on the upper level of B&H with the rest of the products including televisions on the main floor. A used department is also located on the second floor which features both new and vintage gear.

Helpful Staff

Founded in 1973, the B&H Superstore prides itself on offering trustworthy customer service and is staffed with over 100 sales and support employees. The non-commissioned sales associates at B&H (many of whom are professional photographers) are trained to help customers choose products that are best suited to their needs and skill level.

The store is packed with hundred of products on display and shoppers are encouraged to try the equipment out for themselves. Manufacturers are often on hand to provide in-depth product demonstrations of the latest models.

Free Seminars

Educational events and seminars are held regularly by industry professionals in the B&H Event Space on the second floor. Free lectures have been conducted on photography by pros from the New York Film Academy and the School of Visual Arts. Participants can register in advance on-line or if space permits drop in on an event.

B&H also offers plenty of free educational materials including a library of catalogues, product guides and sourcebooks.

The B&H Superstore is located at 420 9th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets. With a minimum purchase of $100, customers receive one hour of free parking at the B&H parking lot, or two hours free with a $300 purchase.
