Decoupage Pieces

John Derian is renowned for his decoupage. The craft of decoupage (from the French word for cut) is when pictures or prints are cut out, applied to an object such as a plate and then preserved under glass or laminate. John Derian’s decoupage collection includes a broad range of items such as lamps, coasters, multi-piece wall hangings as well as numerous plates, platter and trays in a variety of shapes and sizes.

The simple, classic John Derian Furniture Collection is upholstered in linen and comes in four elegant colours- oyster, flax, sable and steel. All pieces are handcrafted from domestic maple wood. There are two John Derian boutiques in Manhattan. The original John Derian shop which features his decoupage and imported goods is located at 6 East 2nd Street between 2nd Avenue and The Bowery (212-677-3917.)

Located a couple doors down at 10 East 2nd Street is John Derian Dry Goods (212-677-8408) which sells furniture, linens, rugs and art.
