Built in 1996 as the first hotel in Soho in more than a century, the Soho Grand Hotel New York was co-designed by Bill Sofield and architect David Helpern. This 17-story hotel is a favorite hangout among fashion and entertainment industries, especially the Grand Bar & Lounge, commonly known as “Soho’s living room”, has just recently been redesigned by Sofield, the hotel’s original designer.
