When the Washington Square Hotel was a residential hotel and during Greenwich Village’s bohemian days, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and other artists stayed there. Today, the nine-floor family-owned hotel is a favorite among writers, artists and visitors to Greenwich Village. The Art Deco-accented hotel features artworks by co-owner Rita Paul while and a skylight illuminates the central stairwell.
