Broadway Hotel and Hostel

Broadway Hotel and Hostel

Broadway Hotel & Hostel is a budget hotel in the Upper West Side, between Riverside and Central Parks. As the name implies, this is a no-frills lodging for solo or group NYC tourists looking for something affordable but not too worn and torn. Included are also a bar and lounge, both private and dormitory-style rooms with shared or private baths, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk.
The Broadway Hotel & Hostel houses 126 non-smoking guest rooms, including bunk beds in a mixed or female dormitory, queen, double and twin bed rooms with a shared bath, and en-suite queen bed room. They all have modern/renovated décor with a touch of bright-coloured accents here and there.
Room amenities at this hotel include air-conditioning or a ceiling fan, free Internet, a docking station for iOS devices, flat-screen cable TV, and a bed with white European bed linens, plush blankets and pillows, and down comforters. Daily housekeeping service is provided as well but no cribs or rollaways.
One of the biggest draws for visitors of this hotel is also its cosy lounge areas with TVs and a fireplace, free WiFi and bookshelves. There’s also a shared kitchen with microwaves, toasters, kettles and other kitchen appliances, plus a dining area.
Common for a hotel of this calibre, there’s no in-house restaurant, breakfast buffet or gym. However, there is a 24-hour computer station with PCs, a printer, and ATM.
As far as surrounding Manhattan attractions go, then Central Park is within a 30-minutes’ walk, as is Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History. The 103 Street Station is a couple of blocks away, which makes for a 15-minute ride to the heart of Times Square and other Midtown hotspots.
