Renovated in 2011, the 25-storey building has 1,298 guestrooms in total which are 280 sq feet or bigger, including accessible rooms and suites. All accommodations offer Hyatt Grand Bed™, have a spacious work desk with chair, offer complimentary WiFi, flat-screen TV, in-room safe, Geneva sound station, marble bathroom and a turndown service upon request. Same-day laundry service is provided by the hotel too. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't accommodate pets.
In-room spa services is another major draw for many travellers, featuring massages, facials, manicures, and unique wellness packages, with hours by appointment.
Dining-wise, the Grand Hyatt Hotel serves Western European menu at its restaurant New York Central. For something more casual, there's also a trendy lounge area with a bar which serves craft cocktails. The hotel also has a 24-hour in-house grab-and-go café called Market, which serves fresh coffee beverages, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Among other comforts, hotel's guests can also make use of their 24-hour fitness and business centres. Their knowledgeable concierge can also help you with sightseeing tours and reservations. While the Hyatt may not be in the centre of tourist attractions, it's one of the busiest places in the city for its proximity to Grand Central Terminal. Landmarks to discover nearby include New York Public Library, Museum of Modern Art, and Times Square, which are all less than a mile away from the hotel.
