Night Hotel Times SquareNight Hotel Times Square, not to be confused with its equally stylish sister hotel, Night Theater District, is a 3-star hotel on West 47th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. Built in 1931, it has less amenities than its counterpart, but boasts with equally prime location that’s within walking distance to some of the most popular NYC landmarks. It also has an on-site casual restaurant and offers plenty of in-room luxuries like free WiFi.
There are 208 guestrooms in this property, with a one or two queen or king beds, but there are no suites. Unlike the Theater hotel, rooms are less stylish but cosy, with 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton bedding, and plush pillow-top beds with allergen-free pillows and duvets.
Other in-room amenities include a flat-screen TV, Skype and Bluetooth-enabled smart cordless phones, Bose Wave sound systems with iPod dock, as well as C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, terrycloth bathrobes, in-room safes and interactive room service consoles. For extended stays, they also offer same-day laundry service and dry cleaning.
Note that the Night Hotel doesn’t have an on-site fitness centre, although they do offer free access to the popular nearby New York Sports Club. For business needs, a small business centre with laptops is featured too. For meetings, they have a dedicated rooftop terrace.
On-site dining is limited to one stylishly-designed restaurant called Maple, which serves Colorado-inspired tapas-style meals. Room service is available as well.
The Midtown location would be another draw for most of the hotel’s visitors. Even though the 49th Street Station is just around the corner, there’s plenty of attractions within walking distance too. This includes Broadway Theaters, Top of the Rock, Museum of Modern Art, and the Empire State Building, just to name a few.
