For example, he designed the Time Warner Cable Center at Columbus Circle. Employed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Childs had ambitious plans to build a new skyscraper on the ruins of the Twin Towers. Several Port Authority Trans-Hudson trains also link this busy transit station with other parts of Manhattan and New Jersey.
