Located next to Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, the northern area of Manhattan, it’s a short walk to numerous restaurants, cafes, including the Apollo Theater that’s within walking distance as well. Judging by the feedback on booking portals, guests have been highly satisfied with their stay. So, if you find an available spot, then you’re likely looking at a good value for money.
This bed and breakfast-type homely lodging has just 7 non-smoking rooms which sleep up to four people, including double, triple and quadruple units with a shared or private bathroom and about 375 sq feet in size. All rooms come with a TV, ceiling fan, decorative fireplace, wardrobe or closet, and have en suite bathrooms with a hairdryer, towels and toiletries. Earplugs for better sleep are provided for better sleep as well.
WiFi access is included in the rates too, although previous guests have complained about its slow speed. Hence, travellers who plan on doing essential work while on the move may have to look for another guesthouse or a hotel instead.

It’s served by lines 2 and 3 which go through Upper West Side, Times Square, Greenwich Village and Lower Manhattan, but also past the Bronx Zoo. Another pro is that its local hosts can provide more travel tips as well.
