TEN15NYCTEN15NYC is a company that provides apartment rentals since April of 2012. It’s positioned close to the New York Public Library and the Empire State Building, in Midtown Manhattan. Housed in a typical pre-war walk-up building, it’s an excellent choice for travellers seeking more privacy. Although the apartments are well-equipped for extended stays, it doesn’t seem to promote any special deals for long-term bookings as such.
The building has studio apartments, as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments which sleep up to 6 people. They are all strictly non-smoking and have exposed brick walls which create a classic NYC feel. Moreover, they also offer complimentary coffee and tea with a small treat upon arrival. Note that TEN15NYC has no lift in the building, but they can schedule someone to give an extra hand with the luggage at least.
There are plenty of amenities for the higher rates as well, including cable TV, free WiFi, iPod speakers, ACs, ironing boards, blow dryers, as well as fresh towels and allergy-free and anti-microbial bedding that supposedly matches those of 5-star hotels. The apartments are also equipped with full kitchens that have a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, and a dining table.
Housekeeping is optional in this accommodation. There are also additional fees for late and early check-ins. Unfortunately for some, pets are not allowed. As to be expected, there’s no on-site fitness centre or breakfast buffet.
Landmarks and attractions to explore in the Garment District and nearby include Madame Tussauds, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and Herald Square. Chelsea with its piers and The High Line, Gramercy and Murray Hill are can be reached on foot as well. Alternatively, feel free to use the nearest subway station which is just a couple of blocks away.
