The Premier Times Square by MillenniumThe Premier Times Square is a 4-star hotel that’s part of the Millennium Broadway hotel complex on 44th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue. The main highlights here would be the oversized guestrooms with large windows, complimentary continental breakfast and manager’s reception in the evenings, as well as children programme and plenty of meeting facilities.
There are 125 guestrooms in total, which are about 330 sq feet in size and with only seven rooms per floor. Luxuries here are the floor-to-ceiling windows, a European soaking tub, separate walk-in shower and modern amenities. Among that, you’ll also find a Smart-TV, in-room safe and workspace, plus a coffee maker and iHome docking station. This also includes accessible features. Families may also be interested in the featured Ask Alfred children programme.
All guests are also treated to manager’s reception or free evening happy hour with snacks, wine, and beer. The complimentary breakfast buffet is part of the stay as well, including pastries, hard-boiled eggs, cold cereal and granola, yoghurt, fruit, juice, and coffee.
Unfortunately, there’s no on-site gym but complimentary passes to the gym at the hotel next door. Business-wise, the Premier has a whopping 43 meeting rooms over 52,000 sq feet of space, plus a business centre with computers and a printing service.
The premiere Midtown location means visitors of this hotel don’t need to walk far to experience the best of Manhattan. Times Square aside, this includes the Broadway theatres, Rockefeller Center, and Empire State Building. Tourists visiting the Big Apple for the first time are invited to use the hotel’s sit-down concierge team who are happy to assist with booking the show tickets, restaurant reservations and additional business needs.
Lacking many other luxuries comparing to the nearby accommodations and chain hotels, the Premier Times Square by Millennium may not be considered a bargain but would meet the most basic needs for casual Manhattan leisure or business travellers.
